These tools are stimulus and support.
Stimulus is the tool that gets you to say, "I will do that", "I will behave like that".
Support is the tool that helps you to keep being driven by the stimulus or stimuli you have chosen. Support can be both internally generated and externally imposed.
Understanding these two tools will help you to identify where your discipline needs assistance.
By using these tools, you will be much more likely to do what you say you will. And, if you do what you say, your life will be a constant experience of joy as distinct from regret.
